SERA is jointly governed by executive and senior representatives of the Alliance principal parties. This team consists of two dedicated Relationship Managers appointed from CSIR and University of Pretoria, respectively, and the CSIR's President and the University's Vice Chancellor. They meet annually and are responsible for giving effect to the intent of the SERA Memorandum of Understanding, and reporting performance and progress to the CSIR Board and the University Council. The SERA Relationship Managers take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of SERA activities.
