ACGT partner institutions in successful bid
Three ACGT partner institutions have been selected as one of the six institutions participating in the Southern African Biochemistry and Informatics for Natural Products (SABINA) network programme, to be funded through the Carnegie-IAS Regional Initiative in Science and Education.

Science real and relevant: A CSIR Conference
The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is hosting its second biennial conference on 17 and 18 November 2008. Its scientists, engineers and technologists will present exciting research outputs set to impact positively on society and the economy.
 
UP to host bioinformatics workshops with the ACGT
The ACGT Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Unit has organized three workshops on structural biology / bioinformatics with well known local and international presenters. The workshops are dedicated to the University of Pretoria Centenary celebrations.
